'Keep Me In My House' Remodel

K and L reached out to me sharing that in a few short years their boys will be grown and gone and it will be their downsizing moment.  Currently they enjoy their neighborhood, location and home, except for the master and kids' bath.  Words like 'out dated', 'don't like' and 'help' were said with K eventually saying, "This is a 'keep me in the house remodel'.

That was the clarifying moment for me as their decorator.  I knew then that the goal would be to spend enough money to take the bathrooms to another level but not too much that they would lose that money when selling the home.

Tension points.  Stretching something in two different directions without breakage.  In order for me to meet their expectations I will need to take two bathrooms to an elevated level with a budget modifications due to limited amount of time left in the home.  There are the tension points.

Bathroom remodels and a modified budget.  Can they coexist without breaking a budget?  Of course!  Knowing where to purchase items for less and passing on my designer discount to K and L will keep budget on track.  Appropriately splurging on finishes that will elevate the items we pinch on will bring the 'wow factor'.  Stay tuned for photos of "Keep Me In My House" remodel.  Suzanne
